Does technology change the way people learn??

I certainly think the use of technology affects the way kids learn in the enviroment and classroom. A lot of kids deppend on technology to learn. Even i use technology instead of finding a book in the library. I feel that kids don't focus as much as like are parents use to in school when they didn't have technology to base their life on. For us technology is like an everyday thing that we use almost everyday. Like for example computers we use to type up essays while when our parents wre younger they had to hand write everything they didn't have technology to base their life on. When in school we have a lesson how often do you think kids actually honestly pay attention while its going on. I think not that often i think in my opinion that i learn better when there is tecnology involved. most classes in our day of age have technology to teach us like for example in english we have the smart board, computers, and elmo to project and use to reseach and have fun while learning. In social studies we have the projector and sometimes we go to the library and do research on the computers. Mostly every class has technology involved with it. i think kids in my opinion don't focus as much as when our parents were in school. Technology changed habits of learning and how to learn. Technology made a big difference in our lives.

Hi my name is Deana I will be one of your students until May. Last year i wnt to Washington Elementary school. Now this year I'm i hoover NOT Thomas Jefferson. In middle school my favorite things are the cool lockers, The class switching, andhaving different teachers for each subject. English and math are my favorite classes even though i'm not the best at them. ENglish is not the easiest subject in school. It is a challenge at the quizes. The quizes aren't the easist its not extremely easy to get a perfect score on them. In english class i am bad at the vocabulary and grammar. I think it is really hard and vocabulary is hard to remember. I am good at reading outloud but not taking quizes about what you just read becuse i don't ever rememember what i read.

Our class is fun to be with. We are a very energetic and we have a lot of humor. Are class is very fun to be around. Are class of students are very talkative including me. We all have are times when we talk a lot but for me its every day unless something is really bothering me. Mrs. Patalano is very sarcastic and talks to us and tell us about her belongings at home.(her head massager story was pretty interesting.)

WHeN i GrOw uP i WaNt To Be....

As a little girl and still i have always dreamed to be the same thing. I always bugged my parents to take me to lessons and they always said.. Maybe. That thing i wanted to be all my life was to be an actress but its not a real realistic goal. My parent said that if my dream ever came true i would be really good at it because they think i'm a really dramatic person. There is one problem about my goal... I get nervous easily when i'm in front of a large group of people. I always try to overcome my fear but someday i actually get that to happen. THe college i want to go to is Julliard. THey have a good performing arts program and is a really good school for acting. THis is my goal of ehat i want to be when i gtow up.
