NJ ASK!!

The NJ Ask Is just big terms in saying a final test on everything you learned. The NJ ASK wasn't difficult although some things on there we never learned. It wasn't all that difficult but somethings were easier than others. The essays that we had to write were extremely easy but the passages that we have to read and answer questions is a challenge. For some reason i was never really good at reading a passage and answering questions that went along with it.IT was difficult for me. Everything else was easy. Last year i didn't get a high score but this year i improved a lot.

BITHDAYY SUPRISE !!

          " Mike wake up ! We have to figure out what were doing today. " Jesse shouted.
          " I have an idea of what we can do... We can get a birthday present for Gabriella's sweet 16 birthday. " Mike replied enthusiastically.
          " Good idea we should go ask dad now." She jumped up and said.
          They both sprinted up the long tiring steps and rushed to there dad's work room.
          " Dad can you bring us to the mall to buy Gabriella a birthday presents please please please." Mike and Jesse bugged their dad.
          " Sure go in the car and I'll be there in a second. " He answered.
          They rushed down the steps and they went to the key rack to get the car keys, and they ran out the door. They hopped into their dad's black 2012 Camarro. They buckled their seatbelts as their dad comes into the car. They drove to the mall which was two minutes away.
          " Dad thanks for bringing us can you pick us up in a little while. " Jesse asked.
          " Ok be good. "He  replied. t
They walked around and they found a store called Delias ® They walked in and right away they saw a beautiful dress that was standing out. The dress had flowers and it was purple and black. They went up to the cashier and bought the dress.
          " Excuse me you don't have enough money you are $20 short. " The cashier said.
It must've been their lucky day on the floor in the middle of the empty store layed a $20 bill.
          " We have the money." Jesse said.
They bought the dress and their dad pulled up outside. They went home and they were to excited about the present they gave it to their sister a day early.
         " Here Gabriella we got you a birthday present. "  They both said together.
         " thnak you ! i'm going to go try it on. "
She comes walking down the stairs in the beautiful dress and she twirled around and danced in the dress.
         " I absolutly love this dress ! thankss! i appreciate it. " Gabriella exclaimed.

When you fall downn you gett back up right away no matter what it take; the pain, the strength, anything. "Fall seven times, stand up eight." A Japanese Proverb once said. Whatever it takes you should always try better than you tried the first time. If you fall Riding a bike and you fall down, you shouldn't just give up there you should get back on that bike and try again.

When i was a little girll i used to always give up on myself. When i was learning how to ride i bike; whenn i fell i would not get backk on but i pushed myself to try again and give it another try. i can relate a song to this because theres a song where this girl falls down when she gets knocked down and she gets back up.

The United states have been through big problems and they have fallen, and they got back up and fought back. The US had made it throught the toughtest of the times and have made it out most of the time. When 9.11 happened even though we were all upset the US was inspired to become a better nation; we're more secure we have more security now in airport and we have gotten stronger. When we were in a mess in time we have to get up and try harder.

When your inn a bad situation, you shouldnt just let it go you have to get upp and trry to make that situation better. You have to learn from your mistakes. When you fall down you should be inspired to only try better when you try againn. Everyone needs inspiration and by making mistakes its only inspiring you to try harder than you tried the first time.

Should boobie bracelets be band from schools?

     Millions of people throughout the world have died and suffered from cancer. People raise money fir cancer research and some people sell things for the cause, such as the I LOVE BOOBIE ® bracelets. More than half of the kids in th US have worn breast cancer bracelets to show that they're helping but some kids think its a distraction.Kids think it supports a good cause. If schholls allow them they should be flipped inside out.
       Kids think thatt the i love boobie bracelets are a distractions because of the words on themm. I agree. Kids throughout the us are  just wearing themm for the fun of it and what it says. THe kids are taking it in the wrong way and its not something kids should be walking around and talking about.
      Kids think that the bracelets are supposed to support cancer research but there no tthe inventor just wanted to get the moneyy fromm the bracelts. Kids in schools think that they're supposed to support the cause and some people actually got them to support the cause but there not going to support it because thats not where the money goes.
      IF students in school are able to wear the bracelets they should be flipped inside out so thatt kids won't get distracted. The words on the front may be affesive in some kids ways so they should be flipped inside out.

Around the world kidss are supporting the breast cancer foundations. But the bracelets "i love boobie" aren't helping anything get supported. Kids are wearing them for the fun and they don't realize that they are just keeping the money for themselves. If you support something, Support it with a positive attitude.

School uniforms a bad ideA!!

" When we lose the right to be diferent, we lose the right ot be free. "  (Charles Evan Hughes, Supreme Court Justice.) Most teens want to wear the "coolest" clotHhes, and shoes. Clothing is a big part of part for a teens search for identity. The Board Of Educucation is Making all students in the U.S wear uniforms. In a school, you should be able to express your opinions and dress how you want to dress. Kids want to be able to dress in designer clothes. Kids want to be able to to express themselves and think outside the box. Last, Parents might not be able to afford the uniforms.

Kids wouldn't be able to dress in the "cool" designer clothes. You can't  wear designer clothes and name brand clothes if you have a specific uniform that you have to wear. If you like to designer clothes you wouldn't be able to wear clothes like UGGs, Nikes, Hollister you would have to wear a uniform. Kids like clothes that are in-style , popular, and sometimes expensive. One thing is that some kids that don't have that much money might feel self consience against themselves. Having a uniform eliminates your choice of clothes. Kids like to wear expensive things and i don't think it's fair for them to not have the right and choice of wearing a uniform.

Most students like to express themselves and their style. If they wear uniforms everyone would blend in. In school we were taught to be individuals and to stand out. If we dress how we want to dress we can learn other peoples taste in style and their cultural backround by how they dress. Some people might say everyone should be dressed in uniform to look professional and so kids don't get distracted. If everyone dresses appropriately then we should be able to wear normal everyday clothes. Students should be able to wear what they want so they can express themselves.

The economy isn't the best right now and some parents may not be able to afford much things like uniforms for their child. If everyone has a uniform some of the students parents may not be able to buy the uniforms and clothes for outside of school. Parents might not afford to buy both uniforms and clothes. a lot of parents have gotten laid off and to have uniforms is hard because they might not have the money to buy it. People might say they're not expensive but when you think about it it is expensive to buy uniforms and outside clothes. The expense of a uniform is hard to afford. The economy isn't so great and parents might not have a lot of money.

In all schools students should be able to express their opinion and show off their style. Dressing in designer clothes, Expressing your style, opinion, and economic problems is hard on the parents and they wouldn't be easy for people. It is unconstitutional to take away the students right and freedom of speech.

I like my piece becaussee it has everythinng that's its supposed to have in it. the commerciall has three claimmms. Alsooo its has a slogann and a logoo. Lastly it is hass  a Celebrity appeal. i feel i amm good at persuading the audience. i thinkk my teams commerciall is goinng to persuade little kids to gett a pillow pet. Another thing that i feel i'm good at is memoriziingg.  I feel thatt i did a good jobb memorizinng what i had to memorize for the commercial. One more thing thatt i feel i'm good at is fitting the part. i dressed appropriatly to fit the part if a kidd that getting a friend to buyy a pillow pet. some area were i can improve  are looking at the camera more instead of facin away from it. I could alsoo talk a little louder and clearer. Persuasive writing techniques i could try  next time are having more claims and more things on why to buy this product. another one is that we could've dressed the part of a famous person to look like theyy really have a pillow pet. The part of the process i most enjoyed was creating th commercial and presenting it. i like it because all the other groups gett to see how you interpret the idea of the commercial. The goals i have for next time are to have its practiced more so i could gett it perfect. the three things i learned about mysellf throughout the process are thattt i am capable of doinng things. i cann do anything i want if i tryy. Also i learned thatt i have the ability to create a commercial. Last, I lerned that making a commerciall is not an easy taskk it is difficult but sometimes you have to make it.
